Lo and Chlo is a one woman operation run by Lauren Rodgers and motivated by chunky pug Chloe. Lauren started out her jewlery line with My Little Fisheye in the summer of 2011 and renamed her business (at Chloe's insistence) to Lo and Chlo in April 2012.
After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise in Los Angeles, Lauren worked a few jobs in the fashion industry; among them, she had the opportunity to work alongside Erin Wasson for her Spring ‘10 fashion show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. After soaking up all the knowledge she could, Lauren decided to leave her day job behind and start a small vintage and jewelry shop that blossomed into a full jewelry line. Lauren loves to make fun jewelry that leaves an impression, and she takes pride in the fact that her all her work is hand-made as well as made in America.
In October 2012, Lauren started a lost wax casting line that features trolls with crystal hair, unicorns, and many more fun, unique pieces. We’re very excited for future projects and collaborations.
Lauren's inspirations range from Wes Anderson movies, tea parties, 90's toys, and crystals. Chloe likes to spend her time chasing blue jays and sunbathing
